Pelagic V18, being water based, gives a high degree of resistance to fire and explosion in general hydraulic systems and high pressure air operated units.
Pelagic V18 boasts >8 years field experience as a closed loop BOP Fluid across a wide range of Jackups/ Barges and is fully compatible with the materials commonly used in subsea hydraulic systems.

Pelagic GZ18 contains only PLONOR Chemicals and is Green Zone for discharge in Norwegian waters (including the Barents Sea).
Pelagic GZ18 exhibits excellent corrosion protection, lubricity, anti-wear, stability, microbiological protection, material compatibility and all round technical performance.
Pelagic GZ18 boasts >4 years field experience as a closed loop BOP Fluid on Jackups based in Norwegian Waters.
Pelagic GZ18 has an upper temperature stability of 70°C and has no adverse effects on the materials generally used in subsea hydraulic systems.
Pelagic GZ18 is protected by UK Patent No: GB 2438402 and is patent pending in Norway.
Equipment Preservation FluidPelagic EPF is a premixed equipment preservation fluid designed to protect the internals of hydraulic equipment during storage and commissioning. It contains a sophisticated Vapour Phase corrosion Inhibitor (VPI) designed to protect metal surfaces that are not fully immersed in the liquid phase.
Pelagic EPF can also be used for commissioning, functioning and testing during the storage period and comes in the variants :
- Pelagic EPF (H) (freeze point -25°C) - Pelagic EPF (M) (freeze point -10°C)
It is filtered to a minimum SAE AS 4059 class 6B-F (in the packaging) and offers excellent lubricity, anti-wear, long term stability, corrosion and microbiological protection during storage.
Note: for the VPI to be effective the equipment must be >70% full and all air vents & other routes for the VPI to escape must be blocked.
